Pedestrians And Commuters Struggle As Dug-Up Pit Creates Chaos On Vital Link Road

Must read

A seemingly overnight appearance of a colossal pit, reaching a depth of 7 feet, has become a source of tremendous inconvenience for pedestrians and commuters on the linking road between Karthik Nagar and Marathahalli. The situation, compounded by a board citing ‘Railway Work in Process’ due to the proximity of the road to a railway track, has rendered the daily lives of residents and travelers significantly challenging.

The commencement of the digging process nearly three weeks ago has led to a series of complications for the community, necessitating a detour of approximately two kilometers to access the opposite side of the road. Bala Murali, a concerned resident of AECS Layout, lamented the lack of visible progress despite the presence of minimal manpower and machinery on-site. He expressed the collective frustration felt by the residents, emphasizing the escalating inconvenience caused by the stagnant state of the development.

With the work site showing sluggish progress and the onslaught of continuous rainfall further exacerbating the situation, the predicament for the locals has intensified. The glaring absence of a prompt resolution has left the residents of Karthik Nagar and Marathahalli entrapped in an unwelcome situation, accentuated by the sluggish pace of development.

As the citizens await expedited measures to address the pressing issue, the implications of the stagnant construction loom large, impeding the smooth flow of everyday life. A call for swift action and enhanced transparency in the development process remains imperative to alleviate the plight of the affected residents and ensure a smoother transition during the course of the ongoing construction.
