Raid conducted by the rural police uncovered an illegal gas refilling unit, resulting in the seizure of 398 cylinders, gas refilling devices, and several vehicles. Acting on a tip-off, the Doddaballapur police apprehended Sonu Gajanan Pandey from Surapura village in Yadgir district, along with Pawan Singh from Rajasthan, Ravi, and Nabi from Bengaluru city. The raid culminated in a case being registered at Doddaballapur rural police station.
According to police sources, the arrested individuals were engaged in the illegal refilling and sale of gas cylinders, converting domestic cylinders into commercial ones for profit.
