A shocking case of kidnapping and gang rape of a college graduate student has come to light, resulting in a case being registered at the women’s police station in Bellary. The incident unfolded when college staff called the student, who was in the middle of an exam on the 11th, and falsely claimed that her brother was calling her. As she stepped out, four individuals forcibly abducted her in an auto and compelled her to consume beer in a public area. The young woman’s father has lodged a complaint at the Bellary Women’s Police Station, alleging that she was subjected to a horrific 12-hour gang rape. The complaint identifies the accused as Naveen, Tanu, Shakib, and another resident of Kaul Bazar. The primary suspect, Naveen, has been apprehended by the police. A complaint has been registered against the accused for kidnapping, illegal detention, and rape. In response to this horrifying incident, District Superintendent of Police Ranjit Kumar Bandaru stated that the main accused is now in police custody, and efforts are underway to apprehend the remaining individuals involved in this heinous crime.
