High command should resolve power sharing confusion: HM

Bengaluru

Home Minister Dr G Parameshwara has said that the confusion regarding power sharing should be resolved.

Speaking near his Sadashivanagar residence in the city on Tuesday, he responded to Minister Satish Jarkiholi’s statement that the confusion regarding power sharing in the state should be resolved, saying, “What he said is correct. There is confusion regarding power sharing. It is correct to say that the confusion should be resolved.”

Reacting to the development in the state after the Bihar elections, he said, there is no change after the elections.

“The high command says that changes should be made. They do it whenever they want. Changes are not made after the elections. Chief Minister, Deputy Chief Minister, we all have a responsibility,” he said.

There is flooding in North Karnataka. We should focus on that first. There are many problems in South Karnataka. There are also problems in Bengaluru. Solving all these is our priority. We should go on the priority. There is no focus on change, the Minister said.

Responding to the case of throwing an object at the Supreme Court CJI, Parameshwara said. “This is not a question of a lawyer. It is an insult to that position and the Constitution. The security there has failed. If such an incident happens in the court, what does it mean that it is an incident in the Supreme Court.”

He further said that lawyer should be arrested first and action should have been taken as per the law. “I don’t know why he was sent away. He should be arrested first and legal action should be taken,” he added.

‘Will give medicine when it is needed’

“It is coming out in the media every day. Each and every one is making a statement. It is right to say that the matter should be resolved. The high command is observing this and it will give medicine when it is needed. I also say that the confusion should be resolved,” he said.
