Late on Sunday night, a gang attacked a young man of Brahmavar origin in Manipal, resulting in his stabbing. Police have arrested four suspects in connection with the incident. The arrested individuals have been identified as Saif Kukkikatte, Udaf Chitpady, Rahul Shetty Katapadi, and Afridi Doddanagudde. According to the complaint filed at the Manipal police station, Pratap of Brahmavar was assaulted by the four-member gang while he was out with his friends, Tilak and Harshit, in Manipal. In a counter-complaint, Udaaf Chitpady accused Pratap and his friends of assaulting him and pelting him and his friends with stones.
