The Gayatri Mandir of the Brahmin Sabha in Kengeri suburb came alive with celebration as the annual Pratibha Puraskar ceremony honored exceptional academic achievements. The event not only recognized the students who secured top marks but also those who excelled in PhD and CA examinations. Mr. M. Visvesvaraya’s great-grandson and senior mentor, MV Seshadri, inaugurated the ceremony and shared inspiring anecdotes about the remarkable contributions of Sir M. Visvesvaraya to the nation. He emphasized the importance of valuing parents, education, and the nation itself as key factors in nurturing gifted individuals. Seshadri applauded the outstanding work of the assembly in fostering academic excellence. Dr. Kiran Kumar, a renowned entrepreneur, commended the students for their outstanding academic achievements and urged them to use their knowledge to serve the nation. He also encouraged the Brahmin community to unite and contribute to the betterment of society. Sudhindra Kumar, President of the Brahmin Sabha, presided over the ceremony and emphasized the organization’s commitment to mentoring and fostering talent. He urged students to embrace the ethos of Matri Devobhava Pidre Devobhava Acharya Devobhava and expressed hope that the talents of these exceptional students would contribute to the progress of the state. Bhumika HG, one of the recipients of the prestigious Pratibha Puraskar, expressed gratitude, while Secretary AN Siva Swamy extended a warm welcome. Treasurer Srikantha Murthy conveyed his appreciation, and Ramesh read out the names of meritorious students. Ms. Usha Gurdutt, an Executive Committee member, facilitated the program, with Gurumurthy Narasimharaju, Vishwanath Vivek Arunachal Lakshmish, and others in attendance. Talented students also had the opportunity to share their thoughts and experiences. Niharika, who received the Pratibha Puraskar for her exceptional achievements in SSLC, PUC, and Engineering, demonstrated her commitment by donating her first salary towards the award, earning accolades from her peers.
