The recent commotion during the Eid Milad procession in Ragigudda will not go unpunished, according to School Education and Literacy Minister Madhu Bangarappa, who also serves as the district in-charge. He emphasized that no one would be exempt from consequences. While the situation in Ragigudda, which was previously tense, has now been brought under control, Minister Madhu Bangarappa called for respect for the law and unity among all. At a press conference held here on Tuesday, he appealed to everyone to set aside their differences and work together for the peace of Shimoga. The regrettable incident in Ragigudda marred what was otherwise a peaceful procession during Eid Milad. Minister Madhu Bangarappa reassured the residents of the area that there is no need for fear, as the police department is effectively addressing the situation.
