Narayana Seva Samstha Freely Distributes Modulat Artificial Limbs

Rajasthan-based Narayan Seva Samstha, which is dedicated to the cause of physically challenged for the last four decades, on Sunday distributed free of cost modular artificial limbs to about 270 physically challenged persons. The camp was held at Maratha Hostel Grounds on Bull Temple Road. Narayan Seva Samstha Bangalore Unit President Vinod Jain, in his speech said, his organisation has decided to increase its activities in Bangalore in the next coming days. We intend to hold Mass marriage of Divyangs in the month of February in city. This time we intend to gave 50 couples. In fact, the number may go upto 100 also, Vinod Jain added. Narayan Seva Samsthe has already held sports events of Divyang such as cricket, swimming. In foreign countries, fashion shows of Divyang are held. Divyangs of all religions and castes are here in this camp, he explained. According to Vinod Jain, the modular artificial limbs that were distributed on Monday are made of German technology.  This is of less weight and superior in quality. Narayan Seva Samstha has till Monday distributed artificial limbs to more than 39,000 physically challenged people, free of cost. We are providing skill training and have enabled them to build their lives, Vinod Jain said. Physically challenged persons from the age of 10 to 70 were present in the camp who were provided with artificial limbs. Training was also given to walk with plastic limbs. Mirrors were installed to enable them to practice and improve walking. Experts offered guidance and training. Physically challenged persons felt happy as if they have taken rebirth after getting modular artificial limbs. Some of them played football and enjoyed their new found life.
