A newly-wed bride appeared for an examination in her wedding dress and the groom brought her to an examination centre in the city. Sathyavathi, a resident of Bharmappa Nagar in the city, came straight to the college from her marriage house and wrote the examination.
Satyavathi is a final year BA student at Kamala Nehru College in the city. Sathyavathi was in love with Francis, a native of Chennai in Tamil Nadu, for the past two years. Francis is an employee of a private company in Chennai. Francis and Satyavati met through social media. Later, their acquaintance turned into love. The two then told their families about their love. He also convinced the two families for the marriage. Satyavathi and Francis got married in the presence of two families at home.
Satyavathi also had an economics examination. After getting married in a traditional ceremony at home this morning, Francis took his wife Satyavathi on a bike and dropped her off to write her exams at Kamala Nehru College. Satyavathi wrote the examination in her wedding dress.
