Former Swiggy Chief Technology Officer (CTO), Dale Vaz, has officially launched his wealthtech startup called Aaritya Tech, backed by seed funding from venture capital firms Accel and Elevation Capital. In a post on social media platform X (formerly Twitter), Vaz, who departed from Swiggy in April to embark on his entrepreneurial journey, expressed his gratitude and humility in announcing the successful seed funding round for Aaritya Tech, with both Accel and Elevation Capital participating. While the specific amount raised in the seed funding was not disclosed, Vaz confirmed that with funding secured, the team is now fully focused on building the startup. Aaritya Tech has also attracted investment from angel investors. Vaz is currently assembling a dedicated team for Aaritya Tech and is actively seeking passionate individuals with long-term commitment for various roles, including growth/marketing and engineering. Notably, these roles are based in Bangalore, and the startup is not offering remote positions at this time. Dale Vaz’s journey with Swiggy began in July 2018, and he assumed the role of CTO in February 2020. With the launch of Aaritya Tech, he is poised to make a significant impact in the wealthtech sector.
