Minister Krishna Byregowda Paid A Surprise Visit To Sub-Registrar’s Office And Listened People’s Problems

 Minister Krishna Byre Gowda, who paid a surprise visit to the Sub-Registrar’s office at Kacharakanahalli on Tuesday, inspected the extent to which the Sub-Registrar’s offices are providing people-friendly services efficiently. Also, he listened to people’s problems for more than an hour.

More than 10,000 registrations are taking place across the state every day. Kaveri-2 software has been developed to facilitate easy and simple registration. However, there are complaints of some technical issues with the software. Due to this, people are facing various problems.

Minister Krishna Byregowda, after inspecting the office of the Sub-Registrar, addressed the officers, staff and said, public has already been promised that there will be administrative reform in the Revenue Department and the extortion and delay attitude of the people in the Registrar’s offices will be stopped.  As promised, officers and staff should provide simple and easy service to the people. He called for a corruption-free service without allowing extortion delay.

Revenue Department Principal Secretary  Dr. V Rashmi Mahesh, Inspector General of Registration and Commissioner of Stamps BR Mamata were there.
