The State Congress government is doing as it says. The government has implemented guarantee schemes within 100 days of formation. Minister of Women and Child Welfare Lakshmi Hebbalkar said that the government is working under the principles of Basava, Gandhi and Ambedkar.
Speaking in the preliminary meeting, the Minister said that the project will be launched simultaneously in 13,000 places of the state on Wednesday.
The State Government is discharging its duties to the satisfiaction of people under Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar.
There is a lot of work in our department. The Minister said that the work of the department will be speeded up after the Grilahakshmi Yojana is launched.
A large number of women should join the programme to be held on Wednesday to make it a success. Anganwadi and Asha workers should play a greater role in this, she said.
The Minister said that maximum number of women have registered for the Grilahakshmi Yojana in Chamarajanagar, and the efforts of the Anganwadi workers are sufficient for this.
MLAs Puttarangshetty, Ganesh Prasad, Deputy Commissioner Shilpa Nag and other officials of the department were present.
