A tragic incident unfolded at the Two Town Police Station in Bellampalli town, Telangana, where a 25-year-old youth named Kirti Anji died after suffering seizures. The incident occurred on the night of August 26, while Kirti Anji was brought to the police station for questioning in connection with a case involving an attack on a woman’s house. CCTV footage from the police station captured the moment when Anji, seated on a chair and using his mobile phone, suddenly experienced seizures. A police officer noticed his distress and approached, attempting to wake him up. Two policewomen were also present during the incident. Anji was immediately taken to the government hospital, where doctors pronounced him dead. It is yet unclear whether the youth’s family has filed any complaint regarding the incident. The circumstances surrounding his death are under investigation.
