Chief Minister Siddaramaiah’s government will complete 100 days tomorrow (August 27) and the government’s ambitious ‘Grilahakshmi’ project to be held in Mysore on August 30 is getting underway. Addressing the workers at the Congress office in Mysore today regarding the preparation of the facility distribution program of the ‘Grihalakshmi’ project, the minister said that the Congress party stands on the principles of Basavanna. Out of the 1.28 crore beneficiaries of Grilahakshmi Yojana, more than 1.10 crore women have already registered their names and the money will be paid to the house owner from the month of August itself, he said. He called that the government is implementing this scheme in view of women’s empowerment and everyone should make good use of it. A large number of beneficiaries, The Minister said that it should be ensured that common people participate. Let’s make sure that Grilakshmi Yojana is successful at every gram panchayat level.
