A case is filed against a youth in Vittal police station on the accusation of enticing a minor girl, taking her on his bike, and behaving indecently with her. The accused is identified as Mohammed Naushad. Naushad lives in a rented house by the side of the house of the victim girl. The girl was going to school when Mohammed approached her and enticed her to go to Ullal Beach and took her on his bike. When the bike reached Kodangayi, he stopped the bike and behaved in an indecent manner with the girl. A teacher in the school enquired with the mother of the victim girl why her daughter has not come to school. The mother of the girl asked her classmates. They conveyed about the girl going with Mohammed on the bike. A case under POCSO is filed in Vittal police station.
