Backward Classes Welfare Department and Kannada and Culture Department Minister Shivraj Thangadagi has warned the officials that they will not tolerate any negligence at work, do work or face strict action.
He spoke about the attitude of the officials of the department while holding a meeting to review the progress of the districts under the Belgaum Revenue Division of the Backward Classes Welfare Department on Tuesday at Deputy Commissioner’s office auditorium.
He said that officers should work at the field level and work based on actual facts. All kinds of precautions should be taken to ensure that the students are not disadvantaged in the hostels of the department, he said. Ganga Kalyan Yojana is the most important, he suggested to give priority to the work to implement it. He informed that henceforth a progress review meeting will be held at the divisional level every three months.
Secretary of the Department Tulsi Maddineni and senior officials were present on the occasion.
