Young Tamil director Nelson Dilipkumar has scored a huge blockbuster with his latest release, Jailer. Starring Superstar Rajinikanth in the titular role, the film has already surpassed the Rs 400 crore gross milestone and is all set to enter the Rs 500 crore club by this weekend. Following this humongous success, there has been a lot of speculation and anticipation on Nelson’s next directorial project.
In a latest interview post Jailer’s success, Nelson revealed that he had met with legendary actor-filmmaker Kamal Haasan during the making of his previous movie, Thalapathy Vijay’s Beast, and that they had mutually agreed to team up when they find the right script. Nelson went on to reveal that Kamal had called him after Jailer’s release and congratulated him, saying that he has been hearing great things about the movie.
Nelson concluded saying that he knew Kamal from the early days of his career when he used to work in the television industry. Until recently, speculations were rife that Nelson will be joining forces with Dhanush for his next project. However, there has been no official confirmation in this regard.
