Emphasizing the significance of effective communication skills in shaping one’s personality, Dr. S. Mariswamy, Principal of Dr. BR Ambedkar Technical University, highlighted the importance of adopting such skills for graduating students. He delivered this message during the 4th convocation ceremony held at Karunya First Class College on Anjananagar Spurti Dham, Magadi Main Road. Addressing approximately 100 graduating students, Dr. Mariswamy underlined that education serves as a means to eliminate ignorance and foster knowledge, asserting that everyone stands to benefit from education. He further stressed the deliberate cultivation of good communication skills, as they play a pivotal role in molding an individual’s personality. Adding to the discourse, Prof. Jayaram, Principal of Seshadripuram Academy of Business Studies College, encouraged students not to confine themselves to BCom degrees but to pursue higher studies. Prof. Jayaram suggested that in tandem with their Commerce degrees, students should explore additional courses that cater to employment opportunities, thereby allowing them to forge their own avenues. Shantanarayan L., Deputy Commissioner of the Commercial Tax Department, Kivimathu, highlighted the competitive nature of the current era and called on parents to contribute to their children’s educational growth. He underscored that parents’ roles extend beyond facilitating education; they should also promote the holistic development and physical well-being of their children.
