Aakash Educational Services Limited (AESL) has launched the 2026 edition of the Aakash National Talent Hunt Exam (ANTHE), one of India’s longest-running talent identification examinations. The exam has recorded more than one crore student registrations over the past 16 years, providing students with academic assessment, national benchmarking and personalised insights.
ANTHE is designed as a comprehensive diagnostic assessment rather than a test based solely on marks. Each question is mapped to specific concepts and competencies to assess subject knowledge, aptitude, analytical ability and examination behaviour. Students receive an ANTHE Intelligence Report highlighting their strengths, areas requiring improvement and competitive examination readiness.
The assessment also evaluates students through Competitive Exam Success Potential, Test-Taking Personality and Attempt Intelligence Quotient. These parameters provide insights into how students approach examinations, including accuracy, risk-taking and higher-order thinking skills.
The significance of ANTHE is reflected in the achievements of its students. In NEET UG 2026, 31 of Aakash’s 41 students who secured ranks among the Top 100 had previously qualified through ANTHE. Similarly, seven of the 11 Aakash students ranked among the Top 100 in JEE Advanced 2026 had qualified through ANTHE.
AESL MD and CEO Chandra Sekhar Garisa Reddy said ANTHE aims to help students understand their academic potential and identify areas requiring improvement at an early stage. He said the examination is intended to provide clarity and guide students towards a more informed academic journey.
ANTHE 2026 offers scholarships of up to 100 per cent, subject to applicable criteria, along with ₹2.5 crore in cash prizes. The examination is open to students from Classes V to XII and will be conducted online and offline.
The online examination will be held from October 27 to November 1, while offline exams are scheduled for October 11, October 25 and November 1.
