A MESCOM statement said that there will be power outages in various areas due to emergency maintenance work being carried out. On August 25, there will be a power outage in the area of Navunda Power Substation from 9.30 am to 5.30 pm, on the 11 KV Melpet and Balaipade feeder route originating from Udyavara Power Substation, and in the area of Udyavara Power Substation from 9 am to 5.30 pm. There will be a power outage in the Manipal Power Substation area from 9 am to 5 pm on August 25. The announcement stated that there will be a disruption in the power supply in the 11 kV Nitte, Kalya, Lemina, Miyaru, Nitte Water Supply, Irvattur, Karkala IB feeders originating from Kemar Power Station from 9 am to 5.30 pm on August 27 and in the Manipal Power Substation from 9 am to 5 pm on August 28.
