Pilgrims planning a holy trip to the famous Kukke Sri Subrahmanya Temple next month need to update their schedules. The temple management has officially announced that several special religious services will remain suspended on specific dates in September due to upcoming festival celebrations.
According to a press release issued by the temple authorities, major rituals like Ashlesha Bali, Naga Pratishtha, and Mahabhishekam will not take place on September 4 for Sri Krishna Janmashtami, and on September 7 for Ekadashi. These temporary service halts are expected to help manage heavy crowds and streamline celebrations during the festive days.
However, visitors and regular devotees do not need to worry about missing out entirely. The administration has clarified that all daily worship services and regular temple activities will continue running without any changes. Essential rituals such as Mahapuja, Shesha Seva, routine Abhishekam, Archana, and the regular public darshan of Sri Deva will be conducted as usual every single day.
The temple’s Chairman and Executive Officer jointly released the statement to keep the public well-informed. They have earnestly requested all devotees, tourists, and pilgrims who wish to participate in special rituals like Sarpasamskara, Ashleshabali, Nagapratishtha, and Mahabhishekam to carefully check these dates before booking travel or making hotel arrangements.
