Mandya
A major accident was averted after a boiler tank being transported on a heavy truck toppled onto the Mysuru–Channarayapatna State Highway near Murukanahalli in K.R. Pet taluk of Mandya district on Monday. The boiler tank, which was being transported from Rajasthan to the Nanjangud Industrial Area, reportedly struck a roadside tree before falling across the highway. The incident brought traffic to a complete halt for some time, causing inconvenience to commuters and motorists, especially during the early morning hours. No injuries were reported. Authorities later initiated efforts to clear the road and restore normal traffic movement.
