The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has opened a new registration link for UGCET applicants who cleared the national entrance exam. Candidates who qualified for NEET but missed previous registration deadlines can now submit their applications until July 24. Admission to medical, dental, ayurveda, unani, and homeopathy courses will be strictly based on NEET ranks. KEA Executive Director H. Prasanna confirmed that candidates who previously submitted UGCET applications will soon receive a dedicated online link to integrate their NEET roll numbers seamlessly.
Non-Karnataka candidates must register through the official KEA portal, pay the required application fee, and upload their high school marks online. Generally, out-of-state applicants do not need to attend physical document verification sessions. However, physical verification remains mandatory for Overseas Citizens of India, Persons of Indian Origin, Non-Resident Indians, foreign nationals, and students applying for specific minority or NRI quota seats. KEA will publish detailed physical verification schedules on its official website in the coming days.
Additionally, KEA announced the official first-round seat allocation schedule for Diploma Common Entrance Test candidates starting July 21. Applicants can submit their institution choices through July 24, with mock allotment results releasing at 6:00 PM on July 24. Candidates will have until July 27 to modify their choices before final first-round results are officially published that evening. Meanwhile, architecture applicants must submit their official NATA scorecards directly to KEA offices by July 20.
