Authorities in Bidar have cancelled the driving licences of 10 motorists following multiple cases of rash and overspeeding-related accidents across the district. According to the Superintendent of Police’s office, the action was taken against offenders booked in separate cases registered at various police stations. The violators include riders of motorcycles, autorickshaw drivers, car users, and bus operators. Police officials said the strict measure is aimed at deterring reckless driving and improving road safety. The Superintendent of Police urged all motorists to follow traffic rules, avoid overspeeding, and drive responsibly to prevent accidents and loss of life. The department reiterated that stringent enforcement against traffic violations will continue to ensure safer roads across Bidar district.
