KUNDGOL
Two dedicated fire brigade veterans are moving on to new stations after years of protecting Kundgol. Driver and technician Basavannappa Ichangi, who served the town faithfully for 11 years, has been transferred to Kalaghatgi. Meanwhile, fellow driver Mohammed Saab Killedar is heading to Aluru in Hassan district after a stellar 13-year tenure. Grateful colleagues held a heartfelt farewell ceremony at the station to honor both men for their bravery and long service. Officials praised their hard work, presented them with gifts, and wished them the very best at their new postings.
