In a major political development for the region, Koppal District Bar Association President A. V. Kanavi officially joined the Bharatiya Janata Party along with hundreds of his loyal supporters.
Kanavi was formally welcomed into the party by BJP State President B. Y. Vijayendra. Speaking on the occasion, the senior lawyer stated that Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s extensive development works and the strong discipline of the BJP deeply inspired his decision to join the national party alongside his followers.
Looking ahead, Kanavi announced ambitious plans to drastically strengthen the party’s roots across the district. He revealed that an open mega-rally will soon be organized in Koppal, expecting an attendance of nearly ten thousand people. Furthermore, he pledged to personally tour every single village in the constituency to build a powerful grassroots network. His ultimate goal, he noted, is to secure a definitive victory for the BJP in the upcoming Koppal assembly seat elections and help form a stable BJP government in Karnataka.
