Chitradurga
The Karnataka Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe Nomadic Development Corporation has invited applications for house construction under a housing scheme for Scheduled Caste nomadic families. Families who own land but live in tents or huts without proper shelter are eligible to apply. A total of 100 houses have been allotted for Chitradurga district under this scheme. Eligible people from all taluks have been asked to contact their local Social Welfare Department office and submit applications with required documents. Officials said the scheme aims to support homeless families and improve living conditions across the district with government assistance.
