Furious Villagers Blame Power Company For Death

CHIKKAMAGALURU

A forty-year-old local farmer died tragically after accidentally stepping on a broken live electric wire in his garden at Aladahalli village. The victim, identified as Gurumurthy, was electrocuted instantly when he walked into his fields following heavy overnight rain and strong winds that snapped the overhead cables. Angry neighborhood farmers have fiercely accused the regional power supply company, MESCOM, of criminal negligence. The grieving family revealed they had repeatedly begged officials to replace the highly dilapidated electric poles, but their desperate pleas were completely ignored, leading directly to the avoidable workplace disaster.
