Education Minister Madhu Bangarappa stressed the importance of addressing people’s problems swiftly and ensuring balanced development across the constituency. He was speaking after laying the foundation stone for a new road project connecting Hanchi village bus stand to Kuniteppa.
The minister performed the ground-breaking ceremony for a ₹ 50 lakh concrete road, highlighting that road infrastructure remains a top priority for the government. He said that several public welfare schemes have already been implemented and urged citizens to make full use of them for their benefit.
Madhu Bangarappa also directed officials to be more responsive to public grievances and ensure timely solutions at the grassroots level. He added that development work should not remain delayed and must be executed with transparency and efficiency.
He further reiterated the government’s commitment to completing the legal process of issuing land titles to “Bagar Hukum” farmers. He assured farmers that there would be no confusion or delay in the distribution process and that the government is committed to protecting their rights.
During the programme, farmers raised concerns regarding the Muguru lift irrigation project, stating that several village tanks were not receiving adequate water supply. Responding to this, the minister instructed officials to conduct a detailed review meeting at the taluk level and find immediate solutions to the issue.
The event also saw participation from local leaders and officials, including DCC Bank director K. P. Rudrappa, Block Congress president Sadananda Gowda, and several panchayat representatives and government officers.

Overall, the minister’s visit focused on improving infrastructure, strengthening administrative responsiveness, and addressing long-pending issues faced by farmers and rural communities in the region.
