Government plays with future of medical students: Prabha Mallikarjun

MP Dr. Prabha Mallikarjun slams the government for cancelling NEET 2026 after paper leaks, calling it a betrayal of students’ hard work and future dreams.

Local Member of Parliament Dr. Prabha Mallikarjun has launched a stinging attack on the Central Government following the sudden cancellation of the NEET 2026 exam. Speaking out for thousands of concerned families, she stated that the government has failed in its most basic duty to protect the dreams of the nation’s youth.

The controversy erupted after serious allegations of paper leaks surfaced, forcing authorities to scrap the medical entrance test. In a post on the social media site, Dr. Prabha Mallikarjun pointed out that for months, the government insisted the system was secure and transparent. However, the recent collapse of these security claims has left the government’s own institutions struggling to explain how things went so wrong.

“Lakhs of students have worked sincerely day and night to prepare for this day,” she noted. She emphasized that for middle-class and poor families, an exam is not just a piece of paper – it is a symbol of years of sacrifice, hope, and faith. By failing to conduct a fair and secure examination, she argues that the government has betrayed the trust of parents and students alike.

Dr. Prabha Mallikarjun is now demanding clear answers. She wants to know who will be held responsible for this massive failure and the intense mental stress it has caused. She called for the government to address the “violence” of uncertainty that now hangs over the heads of hardworking students across the country.
