Minister Satish Jarkiholi has said confusion over Karnataka political leadership must be resolved quickly and CM and Deputy CM should be called to Delhi or by the party high command to end the issue. He said leaders including Mallikarjun Kharge had already suggested calling top leaders together to end confusion and take a clear decision soon. He added that the party has worked to protect non-Hindu votes and will continue efforts ahead of the 2028 elections. He said strengthening these voters is important for Congress victory and organisational work will continue in coming years.
On issues in Davangere, he said local factors and organisational gaps must be studied and corrected before elections. He stressed that there is still time to fix mistakes and party leaders should work across Karnataka, not only in one region. He also said suspended party members Naseer Ahmed and Jabbar should be reconsidered and given another chance. He said mistakes should be corrected internally to maintain unity within the Congress party.
Speaking on Tamil Nadu politics, he said secular forces should support each other to protect democratic values. He further said that decisions on leadership issues will be taken after discussions with the party high command. He urged all leaders to avoid confusion and focus on strengthening the organisation ahead of future elections.
Party workers said they expect an early meeting in Delhi where CM and DCM will present their views and the high command will finalise a clear direction, bringing stability to state politics and ending ongoing confusion within the ruling leadership in Karnataka government.
