Vijayanagara
A road accident occurred on National Highway 50 near Kudligi when a lorry hit a TT vehicle from behind, killing one person and injuring several others. The deceased has been identified as Madhu, 27, from Andhra Pradesh, who was working at Reliance Digital. The TT vehicle was travelling from Bengaluru towards Kudligi when it was struck by a Maharashtra-registered lorry. Twelve passengers were injured and rushed to Kudligi Government Hospital while some were shifted to Ballari Trauma Care Centre. Police officials including DySP Mallesh Dodmani visited the spot conducted inspection and registered a case at Kudligi Police Station for investigation.
