Deputy Chief Minister D K Shivakumar will visit Vijayanagar district on May 3. He will travel by helicopter from HAL Airport Bengaluru at 7.30 am and land at Hampi Kannada University campus at 9 am. At 9.10 am he will leave for Tungabhadra reservoir and inspect crest gate installation works at 9.30 am. After inspection, he will depart at 11 am and return to Kannada University campus at 11.20 am. Later at 11.30 am he will leave the helipad and proceed towards Sindhanur in Raichur district. Officials said arrangements have been made for the visit and inspection programme smoothly planned.
