Twenty-one passengers were injured when a TT vehicle and a speeding car collided near Solapur Cross on the Pune–Bengaluru National Highway near Sankeshwar. The TT vehicle was heading to a wedding near Gadhinglaj when a Kia car hit it from behind, causing it to overturn. A total of 21 people, including 19 women and the driver, were inside the vehicle. Locals helped rescue the injured and they were taken to nearby hospitals for treatment. Police have registered a case against the car driver Sandeep Kamath for reckless driving. Investigation is currently underway by local police authorities
