Deputy Commissioner Dr. Nagaraja L has directed officials to conduct the Second PUC Examination-2 in a transparent and systematic manner across the district.
Chairing a preparatory meeting at the District Collector’s office, he said the exams will be held from April 30 to May 13 at seven centres, with 6,230 students appearing. He stressed the need to maintain confidentiality and strictly follow all examination guidelines.
Officials, supervisors, and invigilators have been instructed to work in coordination and ensure there are no lapses in duty. He emphasized creating a safe and disciplined environment so that students can write exams without fear.
A three-member committee, including the Tahsildar, Field Education Officer, and Principal, has been formed in each taluk to handle question paper distribution. GPS tracking is mandatory for vehicles transporting question papers.
The Deputy Commissioner directed authorities to ensure basic facilities such as clean rooms, proper seating, drinking water, lighting, fans, and toilets at all centres. CCTV cameras must be functional, and all key processes like opening and sealing of papers should be recorded.
Police and health staff will be deployed at centres for security and emergency care. Electronic devices like mobile phones and smart gadgets are strictly banned inside exam halls.
A 200-metre area around centres has been declared restricted, and nearby photocopy and cyber shops will remain closed during exams.
