The makers of the highly anticipated film KD: The Devil have stunned fans by pulling the movie’s trailer from YouTube just after its big release. KVN Productions issued a formal apology, explaining that the video was taken down because it accidentally included “uncertified content.” This mistake has sparked a wave of frustration online, as this is not the first time the film has faced legal or censorship hurdles.
Only a few weeks ago, a song from the movie featuring Nora Fatehi and Sanjay Dutt was removed following a massive public outcry. Critics and the National Commission for Women labeled the lyrics “vulgar” and “suggestive.” While Nora Fatehi claimed she did not understand the meaning of the words while filming, the production team was forced to re-record the track with cleaner lyrics.
The internet has not been kind to the production house, which is also behind other troubled projects like Toxic and Jana Nayagan. Angry fans on social media have called the situation a “joke,” questioning how a major studio could repeatedly fail to follow basic certification rules. Some worry that these constant delays and controversies might hurt the film’s success at the box office.
Despite the backlash, the producers have promised to upload a revised, “clean” version of the trailer very soon. For now, the “Action Prince” Dhruva Sarja and his fans are left waiting as the team works to fix these embarrassing technical and legal blunders before the grand release.
