Police in Chitradurga have issued a notice seeking information about the legal heir of a deceased youth identified as Devaraj, son of Halappa, who was admitted to the district hospital due to severe illness and later died on August 20 at 7.15 am. Officials said the case was registered on April 23. The deceased reportedly said he was from Shivamogga, but his exact address and family details are unknown. He was about 5.4 feet tall, wheatish in complexion, and spoke Kannada. His body has been kept in the district hospital mortuary. Authorities have urged relatives or anyone with information to contact the Chitradurga Nagar Police Station.
