Actor Allu Arjun and filmmaker Lokesh Kanagaraj are set to collaborate for their upcoming project, tentatively titled AA23. The film is expected to go on floors in May, with makers aiming to create a large-scale production with global appeal.
The latest update was shared by co-writer Rathna Kumar during an interaction, where he revealed that the story is designed to connect with audiences beyond India. He said the film is being planned as a true pan-India project, not just because of its star cast, but due to its storyline, which carries an international flavour.
Rathna Kumar also spoke about working with Allu Arjun, describing the experience as exciting and collaborative. He said the team has already spent several weeks discussing the script and shaping the film’s vision. According to him, preparations are moving quickly, and shooting is expected to begin in the second week of May.
