KOPPAL
The Karnataka government will recruit 550 ex-servicemen on contract basis for the Prisons and Correctional Services Department. These jobs are for observer posts to fill vacancies. Eligible candidates must be under 45 years of age and retired in Shape One category. Selected personnel will be appointed on a temporary contract for 11 months. Ex-servicemen from Bagalkot and Koppal districts are encouraged to apply. They must submit service records to the Deputy Director, Soldiers Welfare and Rehabilitation Department in Bagalkot. Applications should reach by 2 pm on April 24 as stated in the notice. Officials said recruitment aims to strengthen prison security.
