Congress leader Pawan Khera highlighted the difficulties faced by common people in accessing essential resources such as LPG cylinders.
Addressing the media, he said in several parts of the country, people are forced to stand in long queues or purchase cylinders at inflated prices due to shortages and black marketing. He emphasised that ensuring easy and affordable access to LPG cylinders should be treated as a national priority.
He also pointed out the need to prevent shortages of petrol and diesel, warning that rising fuel prices are contributing to inflation and increasing the financial burden on citizens.
He also drew attention to challenges faced by the agricultural sector, claiming that nearly 60,000 tonnes of basmati rice are currently stuck at sea.
Khera alleged that despite visible hardships, including instances of black marketing near the national capital, the government has failed to respond effectively. He accused the Prime Minister of ignoring ground realities, stating
