India and Israel are strengthening cooperation in artificial intelligence (AI), climate innovation and digital transformation, with a clear focus on solving real-world challenges such as resilient agriculture, future-ready skills, and responsible AI applications. An official statement on Friday highlighted the growing strategic alignment between the two countries in emerging technologies.

The Embassy of Israel in New Delhi announced the arrival of a high-level Israeli delegation for the upcoming India AI Impact Summit 2026. The delegation is led by Ilan Fluss, former Ambassador and EDTs Policy Coordinator at Israel’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and includes senior government officials, technology leaders, researchers and policy experts.

The discussions will centre on AI for climate adaptation, precision agriculture, digital public infrastructure, workforce transformation and ethical governance of emerging technologies. Both sides aim to deepen collaboration in AI, deep tech, ESG investment, digital governance and responsible innovation.

At a time when artificial intelligence is reshaping the global order, India and Israel have a joint responsibility to lead with innovation guided by ethics, Fluss said, emphasizing that technological progress must align with human values. He described the Summit as symbolising a new chapter in bilateral relations, where co-creation in AI and digital public goods can serve as a bridge between the two societies and a model for global cooperation.

Maya Sherman, Innovation Attaché at the Embassy, underlined the shared vision of people-centric technology. She said the Impact Summit reflects deep trust between the two innovation ecosystems and a commitment to inclusive, ethical and socially grounded technological development.

In the lead-up to the Summit, the Embassy organised side events connecting Israeli and Indian stakeholders across academia, industry and government. During the main sessions at Bharat Mandapam, the Embassy will collaborate with institutions such as Indian Institute of Technology Ropar, Dhirubhai Ambani University and tech policy think-tank The Dialogue.

The expanding partnership signals a shared ambition to harness advanced technologies for sustainable growth, climate resilience and inclusive digital transformation.
