Shri Guru Siddharth Meswar was not just an individual, but a powerful force in shaping society, said Sub-District Magistrate Nahida Jamjam during a birth anniversary function held in his honor.
The event was organized jointly by the District Magistrate, Zilla Panchayat, Mahanagara Palike, Kannada and Sanskrit Department, and all Sangh Sansthans of the Bhovi Samaj in the district. It celebrated the life, teachings, and public service of Siddharth Meswar, emphasizing his dedication to social equality, hard work, and community welfare.
Nahida Jamjam highlighted that Meswar’s life embodied the principle of discipline and effort. “He showed how society can improve when we believe in God and follow righteous values,” she said, urging today’s youth to adopt his ideals and lead value-based, hardworking lives.
Siddalingappa, President of the Kannada Sahitya Parishad, said the event’s purpose was to inspire the younger generation to follow Meswar’s vision. He spoke about Meswar’s lifelong service to neglected workers, his efforts to provide basic facilities like lakes, wells, and buildings, and his focus on fairness and social justice.
Meswar championed equality, innovation, and service without caste or religious bias, giving a lasting message to society. His work ethic and dedication to the welfare of the community continue to inspire young people across Tumakuru and beyond.
The function was attended by former Mahanagara Palike member Manjunath, Bhovi Samudra president Urukere Umesh, Vishwanath, P.G. Venkataswamy, A.H. Hanumantharayappa, Purushottam, Kashinath, Govindaraju, Madhu Giri Hanumantharayappa, Giriappa, Guttigedara Krishnamurthy, Tippe Swami Se Ridam, and several other local leaders.
