Actor-turned-politician Pawan Kalyan surprised his fans at the start of 2026 by signing a new Telugu film directed by Surender Reddy and written by Vakkantham Vamsi.
The announcement was made on Thursday, January 1, by producer Ram Talluri, who shared the news on social media.
Talluri said the project is his dream launch as Production Number One under JaithraRamaMovies, adding that the film title was named with the blessings of Pawan Kalyan.
Writer Vakkantham Vamsi also confirmed the collaboration and said the new year became special because of the chance to work with the Power Star.
For months, fans believed Pawan Kalyan had stepped away from films after becoming the Deputy Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh.
Though he completed his pending movies in 2025, no fresh projects were announced until this development.
