The trailer of Dude, a new pan-India film starring Pradeep Ranganathan and Mamitha Baiju, is out and making waves. Directed by Keerthiswaran and produced by Mythri Movie Makers, the film is set for a grand Deepavali release on October 17 in Tamil and Telugu, with dubbed versions in other languages.
In the trailer, Pradeep plays a young man considered useless by his uncle, played by Sarath Kumar. However, the story hints at a bold and confident youth, unafraid to face challenges. Mamitha Baiju, seen constantly beside him, adds charm and wit. A standout scene shows her asking if he can fight ten people. His bold reply? “Even if it’s a hundred, I can take blows.”
Known for hits like Dragon, Pradeep Ranganathan steps into a new avatar in Dude, mixing action, comedy, romance, and drama. His rugged first-look poster, holding a mangalsutra with a bruised face, had already sparked interest.
The film also stars Rohini Molleti, Hridhu Haroon, and Dravid Selvam. With music, visuals, and youthful energy, Dude is gearing up to be a festive entertainer that speaks to today’s generation with style and swagger.
