P.M. Nagaraju, a senior member and well-respected leader of the Vokkaliga community in Bengaluru East Taluk, has been unanimously appointed as the President of Sri Bhuvaneswari Vokkaligara Sanga – East Taluk. The appointment was announced during a formal gathering attended by community leaders and members, recognizing Nagaraju’s long-standing dedication to social and community development.
Nagaraju has a distinguished record of leadership, having previously served as President and Director of multiple cooperative societies. His experience in managing community affairs and cooperative initiatives positions him to guide the Sanga effectively in its mission to promote welfare, unity, and growth among Vokkaliga residents.
Alongside Nagaraju, a new Governing Council has been selected to support the organization’s objectives. The team has pledged to work collectively on various educational, social, and developmental programs aimed at empowering community members. Initiatives under this leadership are expected to focus on skill development, youth engagement, and the preservation of cultural heritage.
Speaking at the event, Nagaraju emphasized the importance of community solidarity, stating that unity is essential for progress. He encouraged members to actively participate in the Sanga’s initiatives and contribute to building a stronger and more prosperous Vokkaliga community in East Taluk. The newly appointed council also highlighted plans to collaborate with local authorities and organizations to implement welfare programs efficiently. Community leaders expressed confidence that under Nagaraju’s guidance, the Sanga will continue to play a pivotal role in fostering social cohesion, cultural awareness, and development within the Vokkaliga community.
