Madhya Pradesh
Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday lauded Indian soldiers for bringing Pakistan to its knees “in the blink of an eye” during Operation Sindoor. He made these remarks while laying the foundation stone for the Pradhan Mantri Mega Integrated Textile Region and Apparel (PM MITRA) Park in Dhar district, Madhya Pradesh.
During the event, Modi also launched the ‘Swasth Nari Sashakt Parivar’ and the 8th ‘Rashtriya Poshan Maah’ campaigns, aimed at improving women’s health and promoting nutrition. Referring to a viral video, he said a Jaish-e-Mohammed commander admitted how Indian forces attacked their hideout, impacting the family of terror leader Masood Azhar. “This is the New India, which does not fear nuclear threats. It enters the enemy’s house and strikes,” Modi said, stressing India’s strong anti-terror stance.
Modi urged citizens to support domestic products, especially during the festive season, and encouraged shops to display “Garv se kaho yeh swadeshi hai” signs. He called on everyone to adopt the Swadeshi mantra in daily life.
Addressing women, Modi requested mothers and sisters to participate in free health camps under the Swasth Nari Sashakt Parivar initiative. “Tests and medicines are free. Your health is more important than the state treasury,” he said.
Modi’s visit also highlighted Hyderabad Liberation Day, commemorating the Indian Army’s efforts in 1948. He emphasized maternal and child health, nutrition, and reducing infant mortality. Modi also noted that 25 crore people have been lifted out of poverty over the past 11 years and acknowledged birthday greetings from the crowd on his 75th birthday.
The address combined national pride, women’s health initiatives, and promotion of Swadeshi goods, reflecting Modi’s vision of a strong, self-reliant India.
