Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta and her cabinet colleagues marked Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 75th birthday by donating blood at a camp organised on Kartavya Path, as part of the BJP-led city government’s ‘Sewa Pakhwada’ celebrations. Gupta said, “Every drop of our blood is dedicated to the country. I donated the first unit, following the saying ‘practice what you preach.’” She also thanked Modi for developing Delhi, including Yashobhoomi and Bharat Mandapam, and improving road connectivity.
Cabinet colleague Kapil Mishra highlighted that the government organised the blood donation camp and a “Sewa Sankalp” walk at Kartavya Path, followed by public services at Thyagraj Stadium. During the walk, Gupta and ministers joined folk dancers, raising slogans of “Prime Minister Narendra Modi zindabad” and “Thank You Modiji.”

Earlier, ministers Manjinder Singh Sirsa and Kapil Mishra offered prayers for Modi’s long life at Margat Wale Hanuman Mandir and Gurdwara Bangla Sahib. Mishra also organised a Hanuman Chalisa recital at Kashmere Gate. “We pray to Lord Hanuman for the Prime Minister’s long life and protection,” Mishra said. Sirsa added that he prayed so Modi could continue serving the nation, acknowledging how India’s global recognition has grown under his leadership.
The events reflected public service, devotion, and gratitude, celebrating Modi’s birthday with acts of community service, prayers, and cultural activities.
