Kannada superstar Kiccha Sudeep has officially joined the star-studded cast of KD: The Devil, a much-awaited crime drama starring Dhruva Sarja and Sanjay Dutt. Directed by Prem, the film is set in the 1970s and follows the gritty world of gangsters and underworld crime.
The production team shared the news on social media, writing, “The wait is over! Kiccha Sudeep officially enters the world of KD.” They also posted photos of Sudeep with the cast and crew, where he is seen receiving a welcome bouquet. Fans celebrated online, calling him “Kiccha Boss” and “Powerhouse.”
The film also stars Shilpa Shetty, Reeshma Nanaiah, V. Ravichandran, and Ramesh Aravind, adding to its impressive cast. Originally set to release on September 4, the movie has been postponed, and a new release date is awaited.
Music is composed by Arjun Janya. Sudeep, who was last seen in Max, is also working on Billa Ranga Baasha, Kabzaa 2, and a project with director Vijay Karthikeyaa.
With Sudeep’s entry, KD: The Devil is shaping up to be one of the biggest action dramas in Kannada cinema.
