SYNCHRONIZE 2025, the intra-university IT fest organized by the Department of Computer Science at Kristu Jayanti (Deemed to be University) in collaboration with IEEE Bengaluru Section, was inaugurated on September 11, 2025, with a strong message to innovate for a sustainable future.
Speaking at the event, Dr. Bhagyavana Mudigoudra, Special Officer, E-Governance, Department of Higher Education, Bengaluru, stressed that innovation should not only solve problems but also “shape a better humanity.” Urging students to seek meaningful solutions to real-world challenges, he quoted 12th-century mystic poet Allamma Prabhu, encouraging participants to “break the existing path and create a better one.” He reminded students that coding and technological skills are tools for shaping the future, and emphasized the importance of persistence, curiosity, and passion in achieving success.
In his presidential address, Dr. Augustine George, Vice Chancellor of Kristu Jayanti University, highlighted the institution’s growth and the increasing national and international recognition of its students. Citing innovators such as Masahiro Hara, the QR code inventor, and the founders of Uber, he urged students to combine creativity with intelligence to become change-makers. He emphasized that education should go beyond economic knowledge, generating solutions to societal problems and improving life for humanity.
The inaugural ceremony also marked the beginning of competitions and events designed to foster innovation, teamwork, and technological excellence among students, setting the tone for a week of creativity, problem-solving, and learning.
