Pawan Kalyan Returns Strong in They Call Him OG

Power star Pawan Kalyan turned 56 with a grand surprise for fans as DVV Entertainment unveiled a striking new poster of his upcoming gangster drama They Call Him OG. The poster shows Kalyan leaning on a vintage Dodge, exuding grit and power, with the iconic OG logo stamped beside him. The caption read, Every era gets a star. But only once in history comes a phenomenon like Pawan Kalyan.

From his breakthrough in Tholi Prema to his journey as Andhra Pradesh’s Deputy CM, Kalyan has built a life that combines cinema, politics, and martial arts. A trained Karate black belt, he is known for doing his own stunts, which makes his on-screen persona even more authentic.

In OG, Kalyan takes on the role of Ojas Gambheera, a feared don who returns after a decade-long disappearance to confront rival gangster Omi Bhau. Bollywood actor Emraan Hashmi makes his Telugu debut as the antagonist, while Priyanka Mohan plays the female lead. Directed by Sujeeth, known for stylish action thrillers, the film is packed with drama, intensity, and high-voltage action sequences.

The technical crew is equally impressive, with Ravi K. Chandran and Manoj Paramahamsa handling cinematography, Naveen Nooli editing, and Thaman S composing the music. Together, they aim to deliver a slick and powerful cinematic experience.

They Call Him OG is set for release on September 25, 2025. For fans, it’s more than just a film — it’s the grand comeback of a legend.
